Some of the information you provide to us as a participant may be visible to the general public via your athlete profile. The information posted on your profile may include:
- Name & Nick name
- Your age
- Classes you compete in
- The brand of your motorcycle
- AMA Region
- Your essay on your greatest achievement in sport to date
- Goal for 2007
- Top 3 Sponsors
- Your essay on why you should be a Toyota Athlete in 2008
- Head and action photo
If you elect to register in the TMX Athlete Program as a Fan competitor, we will collect the following types of personal information from you through your Rider Entry Form.
- Name & Nick name
- Address
- Phone Number
- Date of birth
- The brand of your motorcycle (optional)
- Your favorite MX moments
- Head and action photo (optional)
- Current Toyota ownership and future truck purchase consideration (optional)
Some of the information you provide to us as a participant may be visible to the general public via your athlete profile. The information posted on your profile may include:
- Nick name
- Your age
- The brand of your motorcycle
- Your favorite MX moments, favorite racer and favorite track
- Head and action photo
If you are a not a participant in the TMX Athlete Program, but wish to receive updates about the Program, upcoming events, special offers, exciting news and new product announcements, we will collect the following types of personal information from you through your Email Update Form.
- Email address
Whether or not you are a participant in the TMX Toyota Athlete Program, there may be instances where Toyota requests personally identifiable information to provide you with a service or information (new vehicle information alerts, promotions and mailed brochures). Depending upon the type of request, the information we collect will include your name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, and what service or information you have requested. Your personal information is collected and stored by Toyota in a manner appropriate to the nature of the data. The information you provide is also used by Toyota to improve the services we provide you.
Your personal information may be shared with our business partners to assist us in fulfilling your request. We may also share your personal information with companies affiliated with Toyota, our private distributors, and our authorized dealers and dealer advertising associations.
Access to Your Information
If you are a participant, you may review and modify the information that you provide to us about yourself. You may do this by logging into your rider profile. In order to access your account, you must have your user identification and password available.
Cookies are pieces of information that a Web site transfers to an individual's hard drive for record-keeping purposes so that we may track site and user activity. By showing how and when visitors use the site, cookies help Toyota to track those areas of our site that are popular and which areas are not.
